drag or no drag?????

how bad does dragging mess-up a truck??
just curious, im lookin to get a truck within 6months or so and i like to take care of my shit.......
but pics and vids of draggin look SICK.

Youre gonna get alot of different opinions on this topic. Being someone who has done a fair amount of dragging, I believe in moderation of dragging is fine. I have drug holes in my frame and holes in the rockers of my toyota, so I think the best way to do it is to be dragging something other than the actual truck....ie drag blocks or anything you can weld under the frame to drag. Yeah, dragging body is hardcore and looks badass and if you dont care what damage its doing what the hell ya know. A truck or car that has 20-30 grand into it I dunno if I would be dragging the bottom off of it...just my 2cents.

i'm not into draggin my shit, but i'm down to watch others do it, as long as they are not draggin something they just quickly bolted on that is gonna come flying off and kill someone. if i was just bagged, i'd weld metal to the bottom of my frame and drag. since i'm bodied, i'm not into fixing the cab/bed all the time. and when they don't get fixed, they just look like mangled hack jobs. especially when people drag a doored truck. it's just not for me.

i have had a truck that i drug the shit out of. it was a 98 dakota. i drug though 3 rack n pinions . the truck when i sold it was probably only about 3/4 or 1 inch from laying body but had cracks and weak spots in the frame.  truck i have now i have only drug once and that was to see what it would do and wont drag again.  but i have to say dragging in moderations and every once in a while checking everything to make sure your not tearing anything up besides scratches on the frame and you should be fine

i drag the shit out of mine and it is bagged and bodied, its what i built it for so thats what im gonna do. but my truck is not a full show truck by no means, if it was ide probably plate it or something. 

Dragging is over-rated. All sparks look the same anymore.

draggin is what it is is it fun fuckin right it is but does it cost you bur ass it does i have treated my baby bad for years and i wish i had pics to show what draggin can do. i will say this if u wanna keep it nice dont but u have to atleast once rather its a touch and go or a nice drag with a friend

It's great in moderation... I've had my share of dragging and putting holes in my frame, ripped rollpans, and split cab corners. You'll learn it's not all it's cracked up to be and your way better off just watching, it looks WAY cooler from outside the truck anyway, lol.      Again, i'll be dragging my truck in moderation... But it won't be my doors, frame, bumpers, or any other piece of the actual truck... Titanium is way prettier then yellow sparks anyway
