I was by No means trying to start Sh*t about the Fuel cell. I understand it most likely will not be driven daily, but I am a firm believer in build something to be driven and that just stuck out to me. It can be raised up an inch or two and still fit under a bed floor without having to see a hideous filler neck or something. I personally will not build a truck that I couldnt get in and drive regularly without worries. (Low gas tanks are a worry) but that just me. Either way its a Killer build whether its intended to be driven or just shown. Keep up the awesome work!

you guys are beating this gas tank thing to death. it's a SEMA build you act like it's going to be a daily driver. with the time and money he's going to have in this build I doubt the owner is going to drive it 1/2" above the ground everywhere he goes and risk damaging some of the awesome sheetmetal work that the LSOH is going to do or mess up the nice frame work. this thing is going to have too many photoshoots lined up to even see the road

I guess everyone is all for this thing being a trailer queen, awesome...

With the time and money he's going to have in this build it should be able to be DRIVIN

this build is actually going more then most people think.. ronnie has been building this truck, well kinda this truck, for going on i think its 4 years now.. but when it gets done it will be one of the baddest minis out right now thats for sure

LOLZ @ all the guys telling Eric what he SHOULD do to the truck he is building. and btw my wife drove her trailblazer we built for sema on 22" billets with 30 and 35 series tires daily for a year and a half. There is more to owning a truck than driving it .0002 inches off the ground.

I also don't get it...the fuel cell is about the same height off the ground that most NBS Chevys with raised gas tanks are. The cell doesn't have to be 3 inches off the ground. My tranny/oil pan on my dodge was a 1/2 off the ground and drove the piss out of it 2-3 inches off the ground everywhere...and neither had a mark on it. I don't think a 1/2-1 clearance is a big deal. Specially when the body will hang lower than the cell. Get over it...it's a badass truck.

steven you want me to drive the blazer or buy the blazer? im down to drive im broke to buy lol.. everyone just wait till the truck is finished then decide if you like the cel or not.. your not going to be able to see it and its not going to be on the ground.. dont worry about it truck is going to be sick

well alrighty then. some crappy phone pics of the truck as we've been doing the 1" chop. that much is nearly done as of today. tomorrow is Oct. 6th which leaves 22 work days before we head out for Vegas with (hopefully) a finished truck. nice!
