Worked on the truck for a few hours, got the interior mostly out.  I went ahead and cut the supports between radiator and cab to make disassembly easier, and i will weld back once whold sfbd is complete.

Thanks randy, very long, but very informative. And thanks jason, i appreciate your info, answered a lot of my questions about ac and some of the cutting for clearances. I did get the dash out wednesday, but havent started cutting yet. Plan to work on it again next thursday and will have some new pics.

hey guys sorry for the delayed response. i dont have many build pics online and the ones i do have are on a website that is down right now. i do however have a ton on my desktop and can upload them in a day or 2 if needs be. heres a pic of the truck completed. with the firewall/intake we just notched the wiper cowl. we also put the fuse box under the wiper cowl. very convenient and no need for relocating. i used a late 90s model ranger booster for clearance on the wheels. the frame horns were dropped typically like any other bodydrop. the upper radiator mounts were cut down and re welded shorter so they held the radiator up like stock. we just trimmed my stock shroud and ran the factory clutch fan. my truck still had factory a/c on it with the bd. the tranny tunnel was raised in the cab about 2 inches and we notched a spot right above the shift linkage on the trans so the lever would go all the way up and down with no clearance issues under the truck. tranny xmember was made from 1x1 tubing. the tunnel wasnt raised enough to have to cut the carpet in the cab. carpet fit like stock. just had to modify the black plastic piece under the radio bezel over the tranny tunnel. we used a kp 6 link that was modified to work with the stockfloor bd. yes the bed was stock floor as well. the back half was z'd and  the frame dropped so the bed floor wasnt raised. the fuel cell was custom built and used the stock sending unit. the float was cut down 6 inches and turned around and re welded so it was the same depth as the new tank. the stock fuel gauge worked perfectly and the low fuel light still came on at 1/8th of a tank just as it did stock. the front suspension was djm upper and lower arms with adjustable camber bolts and cups and firestone bags. the truck drove like a stock truck. i dailied it for about a year then drove it to shows. i would get in this truck and go 600 miles without batting an eyelash. never carried 1 spare bag or fitting. ill try to get some pics up of the build asap and post up.
