just looking for advise/help for my family vehicle . i bought a 95 blazer, the motor was bad so i replaced it with one that has 8K miles. i got it running good all the codes gone. but one issue it is having, is after a 15-20 minute trip it will start stalling if you stomp on the gas pedal. ex. trying to pass some one, getting on freeway, or any kind of rapid acceleration. when i did the motor change there was a few codes that were given and i fixed them so alot of the sensors are new. can anybody think, or ever heard of this problem before? thanks

edit: before the 15-20 minute trip you can rev the engine with no probs its just happening after the engine or engine get hot/warm

Now these are just guesses with out being there to see it. ....If you are having this issue with no codes, then I'd start with the basics, i.e...fuel filter, or pump. then on to the ignition this defintily soinds like a heat induced problem. again, think of the basic maintenance of an engine.

I have an '05 Colorado in the shop for over a month training my Airman on troubleshooting skills. This truck had an acceleration probelm, off idle. A misfire code was the only one we pulled each time. long story short, after tesing the fuel/ignition/overall engine condition, we swapped out the cat. pipe and Vola!..problem solved..exhaust restriction...well dude hope this helps in one way or another... cool i know there is alot i didnt say because it would have taken a year haha i did change the fuel filter, but not the pump. i think i may do the cat next .the guy who owned it before said when he took it to a shop it was throwing a cat code, but every sensor the guy touch was bad so the was the only thing we did not touch was the cat. thanks again

Have you changed out the O2 sensors and/or coolant temps sensor, among the others mentioned you might want to check those aloso. hope that helps. I had that stalling problem on my 97 chevy and i got codes for O2 and changed them both out and no more problems.
