Im wondering if there would be any safety concerns when installing a fuel filler in the trunk of my Tbird with my valves and amps back there also.I plan on cutting out the spare tire hole then boxing it in and doing some metal work to house my valves on one side and the fuel filler on the other side, seperate compartments of course. Then on the backside of trunk wall mounting my amps.

Let me know what you guys think, i dont want to set myself up for failure.

just in case you have a leak anywhere, besides the heat issue of the compressors & electrical risks, you'd have the inside of your car smell like fuel. seems like too much thought/effort/work to do what you're thinking, when you could just use some grommets & run the filler somewhere else...i know behind the taillight is kinda played out, or shave the door & use a motorcycle pop up cap (also kinda overdone)... but at least it's outside of the trunk seal...just my thoughts
