if my compressors are wired straight to my battery without a fuse would that kill my battery?

yes yes it would. the pressure switch should be wired through a relay t your ignition switch.

Direct to the battery :NONO: Still gonna wanna run a fuse before the relay too!

yeah i have a switch but no relay from the battery to the switch, would that kill my battery faster?

no, the only way your battery will run down is if the compressers are coming on when the truck isn't running.

I have 2 viair 380s ran straight to my battery. I use a pressure switch and a heavy duty toggle switch that way it doesn't run when the cars off. 4 years later no problems

Always run a relay, pressure switch, and fuse when wiring a compressor. While you can get away without them, you have a chance to failure down the road which could kill your components or even start a fire. Most switches are not made to handle the high amperage that your compressors draw which causes the switch to melt internally.

thats why you use a heavy duty switch so it doesnt melt
