WHAT IS THE MOST EFFICIENT AND REASONABLE PRICED WAY TO LOWER (level out) my 2000 GMC REGULAR CAB STEP-SIDE. IT IS MY DAILY DRIVER ABOUT 150 MILES A WEEK, SO I WANT THE LOOKS AND THE RIDE QUALITY.I AM RIDIN STOCK 16s BUT WOULD LIKE TO EVENTUALLY GO WITH 2O MAYBE 22s DOWN THE ROAD. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT KITS, MANUFACTURERS ETC. WOULD BE GREAT.

You need to specify how low you're looking to go. McGaughys, DJM, and Bell Tech make some quality kits. A common drop kit, that retains the majority if not improve your ride quality, is spindles and springs (4" total drop) for the front, and a flip kit for the rear (with your truck, 6" drop). Be sure to replace your shocks with lowered shocks, if not it won't ride well. Expect to spend in $600-$800 range. Hope this helps ya out.
