C3500 control arms on a c1500

I no the c3500 are tubular would they be beter then the c1500 arms My truck is bagged on 20's

i have no clue what your tryin to ask, but if your truck isnt broken why try to do something to it?

If you have drop spindles and are only on 20s you wouldn't gain much.

I am not sure if the lengths are different or if the ball joint angle is diff or not, if you have some laying around and want to throw them on go ahead . I don't think you will see much difference. I wouldn't go spend any money to try it

ok this i s what i heard cuz i wana do the same swap cuz it looks cleaner , its stronger and gets u a lil bit more lift
k u use a 2500 or 3500 2wd upper arm but u have 2 use a 1500 ball joint but 2 use the 1500 ball joint u have 2 drill 2 new holes 2 bolt on the new ball joint and the other 2 line up u cant use thr 2500 or 3500 ball joint first cuz its bigger than what a 1500 spindle will fit and has less movement and will bind durring extreme lift and lowering

The 3500 arms will bolt to the frame of any 88-98 style chevy truck, but the ball joint is the wrong size and taper for the 1500 trucks.

taylor are the 2500 and 3500 solid tube uppers all the same?

Im not 100% positive on it. but from all my measurments and dealings with the chevy trucks, i would have to say, yes they are the same. but i honestly cannot say for sure. I have never had a pair of the 2500 tubular arms in my hands, only the 3500 style.

I couldnt believe that chevy would make two different style solid tube arms for the trucks, but its certainly possible.

ok,thanks.I might stop by the gm dealership and comapre part #'s.the 1500 moog upper ball joint the best to use with those arms?moog for the lower ball joint as well?
