I recently purchased a 02 f250 6 door which was a former magazine/show truck from FL. Truck needed some love because the previous owner did not take care of it like the original guy who built it. Truck is still extremely nice and very show worthy I just tend to pay attention to every little detail. Needless to say I have to make this truck my own but loved the platform it was being built on. My intentions are to bring have it lifted another 18"s or so. In doing that I plan on reworking the complete suspension which consist of front and rear 4-link with bags at each corner. Smoothing the frame out and adding some custom bracketry and tubbing on the drop frame. Next it will be repainted and air brushing done on the sides. Along with all that hopefully room for a full show fiberglass stereo install. It's a great plan but very exspensive...very very exspensive as we all know. So with being said I am on the hunt for sponsors to help with the build. Thus far I have no sponsors signed and really need to find the best way to approach getting some interest. I have a outline of mods and a write up which includes history, future plans, shows, coverage, and past awards. Have various photos printed out to include with the proposal. However I wanna make sure I am on the right path before I set out on it... I am looking for advice basically to help get the attention of the companies. Feel free to chime in on advice for sponsors, questions on the truck/build, or comments and suggestions.

LaidNeon (Dan Dattalo) Thanks she is a bit of a beast and that's from pics. This thing in person really shows better, forget about driving in it. The 7.3 with the mild work done pushes this thing down the road feeling and sounding like a jet.

Lucky (Lucky Motherfuckin Charms) LoL U-turn... You start turning this bad boy a block before you are going to make a regular turn. Need to get the rear wheel steering on it, that would be nice!

AVTekk (Dave) I am Located down in Manahawkin. I plan to keep the bags and 4-link I am just lifting the truck another 18 inches. But in doing so I am going with upgraded resiovor shocks dual up front and rear per corner. Also plan to run the sway bars up high and drop the link down to the axles to stiffin things up. Also add steering stabilizers and really just adjust things a bit. May change over to hydraulic steering with the new lift. Would love to do rear wheel steering but I might not have the budget for that.

Maybe its just me but ANOTHER 18 inches?!?!?!?

I already don't see how you get in and out of the fucker, but soon you'll need an 8 foot ladder... I'm sure it'll be beyond awesome, but seriously, that seems excessive, lol. Looking all crazy bigfoot...

Guiltybydesign I'm going to be in need of good bit of custom parts made up while doing the suspension. I will try and touch base with you today and touch base. I checked out the site you have some very nice bracketry and products.

BabyYouWish (Matt Hodgson) Since it is new to me I have to change it up the best I can to make it mind. With a truck like this you are limited on options ((endless in my mind:CRAZY:)) So why not just lift it more...lol If you are going bigger might as well go much bigger. With the bags on it you get an easy 12"s of travel so in reality you could cheat that 18" lift down some aired out. When I first saw the truck and was like WOW how am I getting into this. Once you learn the trick it's almost laughable how kind of sorta easy it is to get in. Basically those big tires work very well as a ladder with the big groves.

that thing is super badass..but quick question..i know theres a red one from fl and one out west like that thats super lifted on bags..why not sell that frame and body drop that bitch on like 28s..i know ud get way more sponsers that way cause ud be the only ever thats bodied..just a suggestion..badass regardless

Ya I agree it could use a bit of lift (what cant, right?) but 18"! Crazy. What size tires are on it now? Hydraulic steering will simplify everything quite a bit for the lift but it will be a nightmare to drive at normal speeds, they usually have a huge deadspot on center..
