I have a fourrunner that the battery keeps dieing on. i bought a battery and a altenator. they both tested good even under a load. this 4 runner has power windows and a shit load of lights. i can drive it and soon as i turn it off it wont crank again. i do use power windoes or half the lights that are in it. im actually gonna go thru and pull them wires out of the harness. this is something i made as a daily driver. i bought the donor truck kik harv used for his runner and salvaged the body but used the frame. 2wd. i bought a 87 4runner with removable top and set the body on the frame. which not a fucking thing lines up. but it does now.....this is just a daily driver that i wanted to make know one else had to be different. the battey draining is confusing me.
also the last thing that puzzles me is i did have to put the fuel tank inside. like the old bodydrops were done through the floor halfway. every time i screw the cap tight the pressure causes it to leak out of the charcoal canister. how do i bypass the canister? were i can screw the cap tight and quit inhaling that stuff...i live in sc were no inspections aredone on cars....
little bit about the runner if ya wanna know? it has the 18 inch kmc pornstars that came off severd toy. its still got the torsions with fenderwells removed. its hammered. i had cut wheel wells outta rear to get back as low as it is. they only raise up about 3 inches higher than floor unlike a pick up bed. id post pics but cant figure it out how to do it.... thanks for help
