2.3 liter ranger motor in a dawg

ok here it is...im lookin to buy this mazda bagged n bodied for 700 bones all the work is damn good nuthin is a hack job watsoever shaved firewall sheet metal'd bed n all clean ass stock body and interior..only thing is it needs a motor and trans. i am playin hell finding one so ive finally come here for help..i need motor and trans..oh and the truck is originally a 5 speed..cheaper the better thanks

well i found a 2.3 ranger motor still in the truck runnin and driving perfect..i can get all the wiring and computers FOR FREE..from my buddy. How hard or easy are these swaps? my main concern is the mounts. everything else im not worried bout.please help

What year is your Mazda? Is it a real Mazda, or a rebadged ford ranger?

we did it on my bros truck 2.9 to a 2.8 its beter if you can get all the rangers harness and not have to chop wires gud luck

Instead of starting a new topic.......Is there any chance a 4 cyl from a 83 Ranger could be used in a 88 B2200? No biggie if it can't but wanna be sure before I sell the motor.
