This is my second customer build, and my first S10/Sonoma build. The owner (JD) wants the truck to be BD on 22s (eventually). But here is the catch- we are trying to keep the truck as stock/driveable as possible(a/c, cruise, possibly abs, ext.). So the first mods I am doing is fixing the front so it will lay frame on the 22s. That means firewall tubs, a/c and blower motor box mods, relocating everything under the hood, and tierod notches. So on with the pics of my progress so far!!

torn down and big hole cut passenger side255/30/22before and after comparisonprevious owner (before JD) tierod notchessimple trailer tubTrimmed, patched, and all weldedAirbox templetesAirbox peices cutAirbox peices bent and test fittingAirbox welded all up, and mocked in placeTire sittin on blocks even w rocker to simulate bd

I relocated the blower motor inside where the fresh air door used to be but I will post pics of it tommorrow. I also gutted the dash and driver side so I can start on the driver side mods tomarrow as well

good grief on the previous cuts to that poor frame. very clean work on the airbox but is it going to clear with the camber it will have? ive never seen a 22" on a dime without massive camber.

Ya if you think the cuts on the frame were bad then you should see the mess of wiring for the airride. The truck has about 7 degree of camber layed out right now and it barely clears the airbox. Taylor from MMW is hooking us up with a set of his upper Jeebus joint control arms that are also 5/8 longer than factory to fix the camber problem.

Here's a pic of it laid out on the air ride arms with binding ball joints.

Ok here is my progress as of today. The first pic is of the blower motor plate that mounts where the fresh air door used to be.

Here is the 7 inch booster JD got mocked up. I zip tied the wiring out of the way for now.

Here is the wiring harness bulk head on the driver side. It used to mount low on the firewall but I moved it to the bottom of the wiper cowl area. (inside the cab right under the windshield) The gasket seals water from getting in the cab and the wiring comes threw a removable panel right over the tub.

Here is the start of the tub, and you can see the here the removable panel that goes around the wiring harness mocked up.(Will add a grommet when finished) I am also hoping to run inner fenders so I can run the wiring down the inside lip instead of the way it is now.

Welp here is my progress. I made a custom mount for the clutch master cylinder and the pivot for the clutch pedal to mount in place of the vertical bolts for the big bulky aluminum mount for the pedals and steering column. I also modified the factory pedal to make it work and added bronze bushings for the pivoting point.(will add grease serted bolt later). The frist two pics are an overview of the mount and the last pic is of everything mocked in place
