would you put amplifiers and batteries in the bed of your truck with the gas tank in there too? now i plan on putting a fuel cell under a fake floor made out of metal and only having a billet gas cap coming into the bed. or should i just sell my bagged ranger for a non bagged one and not worry about this crap?

It should be fine. Id be more worried about protecting the electronics from rain. As long as theres no way for a lot of gasoline fumes to collect around the amps, you should be allright. As for getting rid of your truck, if you hate it, move on. If you like it, work out the problems and make it better. Ive seen a lot of people give up on projects, and regret it a year or two later...

i'm more into big stereos and stereo comps and all the bagged crap is really getting in the way.
