I need to buy 2 7s and was wondering if anyone has used these yet? I have only used the REs and love Slams bags but don't know anything about their new line other than what I read on the specs.

Cool man, how do you like the quality? Do they look like they are built as good or better than the REs?

good question, I also wanted to know the opinion of someone who had the RE and then put the SS, as the quality of riding and if the bag rise one inch more....

I had RE-8 bags on the truck for 3 years, never had a single problem at all. Ive had these SS-8 Bags on the truck for under a year, still not a single issue. I dont notice much of a difference in ride, lift or anything else really. they appear to be a great direct replacment for the RE bags.

They look like their built just as good as the RE bags. I never liked the aluminum plates on teh RE bags, so seeing the composite plastic ones was really nice to be honest with ya. But the quality appears to be just as good as any Slam Specialties product!

I have sold a couple sets of them no complaints so far. I have had a club member have one leek around a port, but slam took care of that for him. I have always used slams and will never change. Thats just my opinion.

Cool, thanks for the input. I have always used Slams and love em. I only had 1 problem in the past, my bag started coming apart at the base due to a defect and they took care of it. I will always use them I just wanted to hear about the new composite base from someone other than a sales pitch hahaha. I wasn't sure how good they would be but I will be ordering some very soon. Thanks again for the input.

I like them better than the RE bags, they get more lift, and weigh less as well. I have sold tons of them since they were released.

Ive got SS8s in the rear of my dually for a few months. They work great. Ive towed with them and never had an issue. I was a little sceptical about the plastic ends at first but I have had no issues with them so far.
