I'm trying to wire up the turn signals on my truck right now. I've got a Speedway motors 20-Circuit wiring kit and it has a "Steering Column Connector" plug which controls the brake switch, hazards, and turn signals... My deal is I have a steering column out of a 1960 Chevy truck and don't have any wiring on it. I want to wire the turn signals into a Double Throw Middle OFF switch thats mounted on my dash, but there is going to be an issue with the brake signal canceling out the turn. I'm trying to do some research and found a shit load of motorcycle modules but I wasn't sure if they work for what I need. I could really care less about the hazards, I just need the simplest module that will allow me to run a toggle switch.

Here is some of what i've found. Let me know what you guys think of these and if you have any other ideas or options...

Super simple, but looks a little bulky when i have limited space behind the dashhttp://haywireinc.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=5_11&products_id=106&osCsid=47j98c3posrqsk5jke587nuls5

Bad ass, love the option for the actual switch on the column. but a little pricey for what i'm lookin forhttp://www.turnswitch.com/Turnsignal.htm

I like this size, but I keep seeing these advertised as motorcycle units, similar to the "Badlands" module I see everywherehttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B003A0SVC6/ref=asc_df_B003A0SVC61342375?tag=thefind0143074-20&creative=395261&creativeASIN=B003A0SVC6&linkCode=asn

Speedway sells a deluxe module $100. It makes turn signal priority over brake signal. Works great have 1 on my truck. Uses a momentary switch blinks 7 seconds when hit unless brake is pressed then it stays on till brake is released.

It's made by SDC also. It also has hazard if both momentary switches are pushed together. I used small push button micro switches mounted in bottom of my column cover. With small green led turn signal indicators. The box is very small

I work for regional transit in sacramento and the buses have left foot operated turn signals i think that would be a cool idea as well keep your dash clean looking
