i just got some smc's used and there pretty grimey. can i wash them off with solvent? i dont wana take them apart just wash the whole thing. also does smc sell parts for the valves? like the c clips on top or the spring thing under the solonoid.

i beleive they do sell parts. soap and water shouldnt hurt them, the solvents may cause the diaphram to shrink or warp.

i plugged the ports on mine and cleaned them with soap and water and a hard bristle tooth brush. but my tooth brush tasted like soap after that and i had to get a new one. hahaha

Its not hard taking them apart, theres not many parts to worry about plus if they look grimmy on the outside they're probably the same on the inside

well if you take them apart is there anything that will have to be replaced? like a gasket or something?
