installing 2X3 square notch on boxed frame.

Planning on building a notch for my frame out of 2x3 square tubing. The frame on my truck is boxed from the factory, so I'm looking for pics of trucks that are done like this to get some better ideas of what to do. Be a lot easier if the frame was c channel!

When I do those, I will notch the inside and top of the frame, slide the notch in, weld it up and re-plate the inside.

I did this one a long time ago, but it gives you an idea...no shot of the inside though :(

That's kind of what I was thinking, just trim the boxed frame to make the notch slide in.
