I am about to start gethering parts for my next project. Looking at Taylor's website, he has some good stuff. Some of it looks too good to be true. Anyone on here used his control arms and can give me any pros or cons? Not trying to bash anyone, but just looking at options as to not spend a grand on arms from SSD. I know their's are beef, and highly reccomended, but I feel I could build some myself alot more conciously than spending that much.

i bought my first set from him back in Novemeber and as for quality and customer service they cannot be beat! I am installing them next week on the clients truck but i have already compared them to the factory ones and all the mounts are correct and such so they should just be a plug and play deal. I highly recommend his parts and service.

What kind of vehicle are you working on?, i can try to dig through all my install photos and what not for ya if you like, or get you in touch with some customers that are running that specific product.

Do some searches on Drop-N-Drag as well, i have a section on there with some customer install pics, same with a few other sites, just let me know what vehicle your working with and i will point you in the right direction to talk with some people running my products.

Well, after I saw this thread, I saw the other one that you started Taylor. I will be working on a very common vehicle. I don't wanna give too much away. I don't have a truck yet. I'm going to start stacking parts, and when I've got everything I need, then I'm going to buy me a truck. I will definitely be in touch with you Taylor. Matter of fact I may be ordering some of your original remakes this weekend.

No problem man, if you want call me at the shop and we can go over anything you need to know. 989-750-2689

Its allways good to get the parts you need around before the actual project shows up, that way you can hit the ground running!

That's what I'm shooting for. Gather all my parts. Suspension, wheels, extra steel, materials for interior, and paint, then I'll go find a cheap $500-$1000 truck and go don there! I've always started projects and boughy pieces as time and money permitted, only to get half way through and burnt out and next thing bought was a for sale sign. Not happening this go around! Got a plan and going to follow through!

I have another customer doing that same thing with a build he wants to do this spring. IT really seems to be working well for him, hes nearly got every part he needs, and just going to wait untill spring to buy the truck he wants to gut, then have it ready.

I should try that with one of my own projects lol

Yeah I haven't purchased anything yet. I am going to just get stuff as money permits. One quick question, and I'll leave ya alone. I'll probably give ya a shout Monday if I decide to buy these arms from you, which I probably will, but how much would PCing cost on you flat plate arms? I see you have that option on most items, but didn't see it on these. That's the last question I have and I'll give ya a hollar Monday most likely. It's the wife's bday weekend, and no telling what she's going to want to do.

Ahhh, i got ya now :)

The reason that one does not have a powder coat option is because it is going to be taken off the site soon, and swapped out with my new style to match the new uppers. I get that new design back from powder coat next week sometime and it will be replaced on the site with it. We can talk about that when you call so i can fill you in on the new design. No price change, just a new design.

Powder coating on a set of those is 40$ any color you want.
