Ok, so I'm abandoning the Ranger headlight idea on my Ram 50. If I was going to paint the grille, I'd have it looking good with a little fiberglass work. However, I'm wanting the truck to look clean so new chrome Mitsu grille came in. Found a 95 front bumper in great shape and removed the 4Runner bumper. Before I mount the grille, I'm thinking of replacing the headlights. I plan on acetoning the black paint on the grille. But would like a modern headlight. I've seen some on Ebay but don't know about their quality. Anyone have any pics of nice lights on their trucks so I can get an idea? Something like this.

The lights on ebay are good quality. I have a couple sets in the garage. I like to order from "Racing Guys" out of Walnut, CA. $20 to your door. While you're at it pick up a pair of their $35 HID lights. Best $55 you'll spend!

Thanks, sounds good. I'll have to check that out. Guess the correct term is Euro Projector lights and not "modernized lights".

I just tried searching for them. You have a link to their store?

Yeah, I want the whole grille area to shine. That's why I was liking the Ranger headlights. All up until I started cutting the grille up. Found a way to cut into it and keep the corner lights (plan on clear corners). However it would need a little body work to satisfy my taste. If I could fiberglass it and then have someone paint that chrome paint on it, it would work. But since I'm in a rush to get this truck up and running before summer, I'm just going back to stock and keeping it clean. Truck has every option available for the 88 Ram. So refocusing my plans. I have my late father's standard cab 88 Ram 50 I can go crazy with someday.

john, ive had the same pair of headlights on my single cab, my gray xcab, and now my newest single cab and they have been fine. ive had em for almost 5 years. i did go over the seams with some clear silicone to be double sure they wouldnt leak because the factory seal didnt look to good to me. i wont have another truck with the glass housings
