Relocating my fuel filler

Im looking for some info/suggestions on where i should relocate the fuel filler on my car since i shaved the door.

Ive got 2 possible places to put it without getting into a bunch of extra work, the first being the door jamb which seems safer since the doors weather stripping would seal the fumes from coming in. The second option being mounted in the trunk on the false floor im building which will completely sealed off from the cabin but will also have electronics like my switches and compressors etc mounted there... would that be a fire or fumes hazard if i were able to run a non-vented gas cap, if even possible? ive got the gas hoses mapped out to go either way.

Also im looking for a hot rod style fuel filler neck and gas cap to work with my car to complete the look, pics would be cool too.

Hate to sound like a moron but i feel its best to ask the guys with the correct information to pull this off safely and make it look great to boot.

I have seen them everywhere, I like it in the fenderwell myself. Where ever you do just make sure it up hill and no where near a heat source. Good luck.
