i got a 93 chevy silverado x-cab. its already bagged on 20's. i want 2 upgrade it 2 24s. i was curious if i could find a 24 with a high enough offset would i still have 2 narrow the rear end? if so, what size 24 would i need, 24x9, 24x10, with a high offset?? thanks

you will need a fairly high offset to lay body on the 24 with a regular sized tire. something like +35 or so.

I would just narrow it 2" per side and run a nice dished wheel.

take out your full size chevy rear and put in a camara or s10 rear end.

itll be like 4-5 inches smaller per side, but you can have a nice deep wheel..

Narrowing it isn't to expensive either....

I always vote narrow with lots of dish, also on a truck we are doing we just swapped a caprice axle, just a tad narrower and it came with disk breaks. Did I mention they are dirt cheap?

most caprice/roadmaster axles came with drum brakes unless its a 9c1, thats the police package. the 9c1 axles are also i tiny bit narrower too.
