hey ok i am planning on installing a 95 + dash in a 93 suburban and have a few questions for the guys who have done this project before.1. should i retain the 93 dash wiring ? or purchase the 95 + wiring ? .2. will i have to fabricate special brackets ? or should most work with a minor tweeking ? .3. what differances are they from common truck 95 + dashes and 95 + suburban dashes ? .someone told me they had installed a 95 + surburban dash in a crew cab dually and it was just a minor swap true ? false ? mis leading info ? .i have my own mig , compresser , grinders , air tools ETC and have a pretty good background in fabbing stuff , shaving stuff , but kindawant to know what i am getting into with this.thanks to all who have answers.

The newer dash bolts right in. 93 and up have electronic gauges from what ive seen so getting em to work isnt that hard.I did a swap in my 88 but never got anything other than the head light switch to work"never tried to though" And the colomn mounts up a little different.

Best thing to do is get one and put it in and trouble shout as you go. Im sure everyone who has done the swap has had different little issues.
