I just wanted to throw up some shots of my project, "DWNTIME". It's a 2006 GMC Canyon Crewcab. I'm not the builder, in fact I haven't welded any metal or turned any wrenches. I wish I had the skills, tools, and time to do it, but since I don't I took it to one of the best guys in the area that knows how. John Shepherd of Shepherd Chassis is responsible for the amazing work done to this truck.

The frame is completely custom from the firewall back, painted Chrysler 300 "Dark Titanium Metallic" by Travis of Rehab Custom Paint. I'm sitting on 22" KMC Haze wheels all the way around. Using slam bags and 3/8" Asco manifold valves.

Here are some pictures from the 2008 Low Rollers End of Summer Bash where we showed just the frame.

I made it to ONE show in 2008, a humongous hot-rod show in Laurel, Maryland to debut my truck...

My FAVORITE feature of the truck was my "Half-gate"... up until then I had NEVER seen or heard of anyone doing one and I thought it was a killer idea. It matches my raised bed floor exactly, like a factory tailgate would.

I also had a monster cowl hood that was custom made aaaaaaaand WAVY as hell, absolutely hated it...

The 2009 Show season came around and I drove it to EVERY show possible!

The bodywork on the bed was cracking out like crazy (the bodyshop used panel bonder instead of actually WELDING the raised bed floor). So I figured screw it, lets throw some people in there...

Hadn't done much with the interior so I had Brad at Driven Fabrication spray up some of the interior plastics to see if I liked the color I thought I may eventually go.

2009 ended and the truck went back in the shop. Metal Worx Inc. in Hope Millls, NC for a custom Intake manifold to lay a stock hood and Suicide rear doors...

Since we get a ton of snow in the North East, I took off the wheels when I dropped it off in NC. I picked it up at LOATP... mudder tires and all, lol.

In a late night drunken state at the hotel Saturday night at LOATP, I ended up trading for a smoothed white painted valance with foglights.. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but I'm glad it did...

On the way to Southeast Showdown, my clutch was slipping like CRAZY and it finally gave out when I was 11 hours from home in South Carolina. LUCKILY Palmetto Rod Worx was there to help a brother out and not only did they replace the clutch, they also built me new underhood fenders to better match the rear fenders. I still have yet to get pictures of them though.

Here are some of my latest pictures just for fun.

OH, and I drive it. It has never been trailered to a show... I have nowhere to put a trailer and driving a truck capable of towing it to Baltimore City everyday (where I work) is not my idea of a good time. If you see my truck on a trailer, its either broken or stolen!

Hope you guys like it... and like what I have in store for 2011

Have loved this truck since the first time you started posting build pics. John did an awesome job with the frame and you have yourself one hell of a truck. Keep up the great work.

I have seen this truck in person a couple of times, each time I had to whipe the drool off my face!

Great looking truck Matt... Hopefully I can make it to End of Summer Bash this year.
