tube frame sfbd

anybody out there done this around here? doing it on my 89 as soon as my tax return comes in. and my boss just bought a badass mandrel bender so it should turn out nice. haven't seen it before up close but think it should be good. was going to go the 2x3 route but the tube frame sounds and looks better to me. and we have a car-o-liner at work so I can map it out and save the specs in the pc if anything happens to it. I work at 1st choice collision in dover tn by the way if any of you all are out here. I could use some help if there is anyone out here.

yes my 720 is full tube chassis

just don't run a single tube rail.

My toyota has a tube chassis, it has a cage in the tranny tunnel to keep it stiff.

round tubing is cool, but if you have never worked with it, your in for some fun..

it takes quite a bit of learning to cope the ends correctly, to weld completely around the tubing, and to bend each piece correctly.

it alot easier to go the 2x3 square and add round tube to it for crossmembers/bag mounts/4-link mounts etc..

hey 1lo20 what diameter tubing did you use? I am going to do two runs of tubing kind of like you have on your 720 but slightly different. I know Im in for some work but I think the end result will be worth the initial work and it will stand apart from the other sfbd frames a bit.
