Im in the used truck business and sell General motors, Dodge, Ford. The NADA is a guide just like kbb.com and edmunds. Most banks use NADA guides for loan values. Have seen several trucks roll through manheim auction and have taking in trucks as trades thousands higher than the guides show for trade values and they sell higher than retail guides shows. example low miles 7.3 diesel Fords, excursions, low mile 5.9 cummins, or if you get into lifted custom trucks too. Pretty much a good deal is when both parties are happy right? if you dont see value in what your looking at for the cost dont buy it. The fuel prices also change the truck prices too
