Anyone running a frame rail mounted tranny cooler like the one in the link below. I'm not looking at buying that one... just maybe one that style finned and frame mountable.

Does anyone have any street time on one as well? Whats your opinions?

yep they work great.

but truthfully the trans cooler in your radiator works the best. if your going for looks, or added cooling capacity do it.

I'm running one for my trans and one as an oil cooler. My truck is a 1500HD so it has the 6.0L/4L80E. The frame mount cooler itself wouldn't keep the tranny cool. I added an in-line trans cooler with an electric fan(looks like a miniature radiator).

Works fine after that.

You can buy affordable ones that just mount to your rad at most parts stores.

On low clearance vehicles I think its the better option.

yea... i was just considering running pusher fans on the front of the radiator to keep them out the engine bay.... sooooo.......not opposed to it, just seeing whats out there...

Tranny cooler work gret to cool the air supply off of compressors as well, then to a water trap and to the tank.
