taylor in your professional opinion.. is the accuair stuff worth the investment.. I think they are the only brand ive never heard a complaint about lol.. just wanted your prospective..

I will say this, it may not be the direct statment you want, but this is what i think.

When i first heard about the accuair stuff, i was pretty skeptical, and really saw no reason for me to ever need it, or justify spending that kind of money on my setup.

just here recently i started looking into it more, and started adding up all my costs for the new air setup i was going to buy for the c10 project. I am an air manifold guy, its the only way for me, so after i added up my air setup and how i was going to run it, it literally only ended up being a few hundred dollars more to go with the accuair setup.

I did some asking around and research and found out a good amount of info about the kit that i did not know about before, and figured that it was definentally worth a shot for me, to at least try it. Being that this will be a daily driven truck, i wanted a super reliable, super sturdy and easy to function system. I dont do "sides" or ride "cali", so this system seemed pretty well matched for what i wanted to do.

If i was not convinced i made the right decision before buying the kit, i was reassured after recieving it. The parts are of an amazing quailty, and when you open it and see it all, you feel like you got your money worth. Its an extremely good setup, the fit and finish of everything is perfect as well.

I ordered a second one to put on my wifes magnum as well. Its that good.

i'm totally jealous about the rotaries, I want a set of those for my bronco. It's got chevy suspension under it... can i ask how much you paid for them? sorry to hear the problems you are having getting them or getting your refund.

love the paint job concept you got goin!

Whew, where to start with updates.

its safe to say the previous owner was a half asser to the max. Ive been fixing a bunch of un-expected stuff. I re-wired and removed EVERY butt connector on the LS swap harness, so they are all soldered and heat wrapped. I extended the entire harness so that it is out of the way of the wheels. I -redid the scabbed power distribution that he had with crimped but connectors on 4g wire. That took a fair amount of time.

I raised the engine .750" so that the oil pan clears the ground, and the exhaust is now tucked up nicely as well. When i took the stock motor mounts out , i was amazed. the guy had plasma cut the holes in the motor mounts to oval them... probably up to a .625 hole just sloppy as hell, and when i removed the bolt, it was a 1/4" bolt , instead of a 1/2" bolt like the mount accepts. so, i squared all that up and fixed it.

Im running all my power wires and what not as well, down the frame rails and back to the stereo stuff and back to the compressor and accuair stuff. Have all the accuair into the cab and ready to hook up. I relocated the LS computer to a safer spot up high on the core support, and also relocated the battery to the passinger side of the truck, to make all of that a bit easier to run.

the back is all fully assembled and installed. Its all sprayed flat black and pretty much just waiting.

I dropped my seats off at stitchwerx to get re-covered in some black leather and tan suede, so im waiting on those right now as well.

the biggest thing holding me back right now is the fact that stoooopid ass centerline has not shipped my wheels yet, and i dont have any idea when they will. As soon as the wheels get here, i can mock up the front suspension and check to make sure my control arm theroys work how i plan, and then i can blow the front end apart for powder coat, and get it back together.

As soon as all thats done i have an appointment at my cousins shop to get the truck in and check everything on the motor, and do all the basic matinence. Rear end check and fluid change... tranny inspection and fluid flush, same with coolant and what not.

But, all of that is being held up by centerline at the moment.
