This pic got me drooling and actually excited about doing the wiring in the Impala. Love seeing some clean wiring! Show me what ya got! Stereo, motor, air ride, juice, whatever!! Just show it!!

That telorvek panel and fusebox are not wired. Those wires on the big panel are just the ones from the ecu plug prewired to the panel. The telorvek is a waste of money and space, you are much better paying that money to someone who knows what they are doing. I had to rewire but really should of tossed in the trash. It is hard to tell customers they just wasted $800 on something that makes things more difficult.

The ron francis fusebox is nice but the layering method starts out nice and gets messy the more the car has in it.

Here is one I redid in a car. I was unhappy with it but the customer was on a budget.

some of the engine wiring

BenDaPirate thanks for the props on the wiring. I bought the goods from TheDetailZone.com and RonFrancis.com and did the wiring mostly myself along with Jimmy Graham @ Jimmy's Rod & Custom. k24 rd6 (Ryan Parma) - it depends on your definition of a "waste of money." I did this myself on my own time vs. paying someone to completely wire my entire truck from front to back. A waste of money to me is paying someone to do the work vs. buying a nice product and doing it myself.

Believe me if I had to do it all over again I'd have just run a carb'd motor and have been done with it.. this would have saved money but I decided to stick with a motor I already had built.. i.e. block powder coated, head work done, chrome work done, etc. etc. For wiring the entire truck for just over 1K (including the 4L60e transmission) I was happy.

The best thing about TheDetailZone.com fuel injected wiring is it comes with EVERY plug you need. You plug it in to the sensor and then run the wires back to the main Telorvek fuel panel and your done.. I've spent countless hours hiding each wire and running all exposed wires with Tech Flex.... color matched to the truck..

Thanks for the props everyone.. should be finished very soon.

I take it the first pic belongs to bd94s10? Do you have any pics of the panel wired up? Your frame looks very nice

The Telorvek panel is just a barrier strip with a few fuses and relays. Barrier strips are not a good idea for fuel injection. Not to mention it is humongous and trying to find a good location is impossible in most vehicles which aren't stripped out show cars. The trunk and 20ft of wiring is also a bad idea. They do give all the pigtails which is very nice. For a diy product the instructions are poorly written. If you can get through them, then there is no reason you can't learn how to read the oem wiring diagrams. In which case you won't need the panel. I understand the appeal for those who don't do wiring but I don't really see anything positive about it other than the connectors.

TBI relocated the harness to under the dash, and hid most of my wires

k24 rd6 (Ryan Parma) - I got you man. Ya I just wanted all the headaches removed from the wiring and I knew I was taking it on myself.. I worked through so many other details etc. with the truck I just didn't have the will to want to do my own custom wiring job... Ron Francis stuff is on point and TDZ just offered a nicer product (in my opinion) than Painless.. especially for the money.... Carb'd is the way to go on a truck like mine with so much detail.. in my opinion... but again I just wanted to use what I had.. since I pretty much kept redoing and redoing stuff I finally said I'm just rolling with what I had already had.. nothing with the wiring finalized.. I'll be in the Daytona area tomorrow trying to get it finalized and I'll snap some pictures.... all of the other pictures from from a few weeks back before I started finalizing everything.. its about 2 days away from being cranked up...

The other thing that is nice w/ the kit is you only need to have the factory computer.. so I had all the factory wiring but I didn't want to go trying to make it all nice etc so I opted for the kit..
