well my truck is in the audio shop. i cant talk to my installer until monday and i wanted to get the batterys ordered. my truck is a 07 classic dmax dually. i have a single altenator now and 2 sealed delco batterys under the hood. the have 2 az ob2's running off them at the moment.

the system im getting is 2 orion h2 10's, orion 5000 watt class d mono block, 8 5.25 orion coaxils, 1000 watt class ab 4 channel and a clarion nav deck. im thinking i need to run some batterys by the amps. can i get by with to kinetic khc600's under the back seat between the 2 amps? id like to run the smallist possible so i can keep them in the cab and under the seat.

thanks in advance for the help.

Kinetik bases the model numbers on the recommended wattage. So 2 HC600s would only be good for 1200 watts. If you are running only the stereo off the Kinetiks and you are doing 6000 watts of power you will need 3 of the HC2000 if you want to fully cover it. Erik could probably explain it better, but that is my understanding of it.

Now coming from my point being that I'm a stereo guy, when you say "Watts", what are you referring to? Because maximum really means nothing, you should be referring to the RMS, but you also should take into consideration the amount of "Current" draw from your amplifiers. As far as the batteries go, is there a CCA rating on them? I too have wondered how the Kinetiks are rated and what makes them so much better. Hopefully my questions will also help answer Tuckin20s questions.
