Just thought I would post up some pictures of my 3rd Gen Ram build... Its pretty much just a basic budget build. This is my first time doing any kind of air suspension so its taken me a while... Learned alot just by reading these other threads so I thought I would post up my progress...

I cant weld aluminum and to keep the budget down I decided to modify the frame and just use the factory tank... I used 1/4" plate for gussets and 1/4" wall for the rectangle tube... Should be pretty stout..

Used to L brackets to gusset top and bottom side of the frame on all the joints...

Anyways thats where im at now, hoping to have everything plumbed up by the end of the weekend.

Thanks man, I dont have any full truck pictures... Im hoping to drive it out of the driveway for the first time in like a year this weekend... The fronts done already but since i started the build I have learned alot more so I am going to redo some stuff up front and also Z the frame...

Heres the last picture of the truck I had before I put started working on it.... Just pretty much factory with a 2/4 drop.

and here is a old picture of what I have of the front for a general idea what I did up there, it was unfinished in this picture.... Pretty much new upper mount and some raised upper control arm mounts...

Looks great, I love these trucks laid out. I would recommend adding some gussets to your rear bag mounts. They won't last long like that.

Oh, I see them going down. Woudn't be a bad idea to have some on top though.

lol yeah they have a 3" gusset going down... I was so on the fence as to wether or not to put one going up aswell and I think laziness took over... :P I think your right though, I should definately put one up especially since thats the way the load will be pushing on the mount...

Probably need to tie the two frame rails together in that area also. What motor does this truck have in it?
