I wasn't sure where to put this but what is the going rate for bodydropping a yota these days? a buddy of mine is wanting his bd and was wanting to know what to expect.

There are lots of factors that will play into the price such as geographic location, how much of a drop etc. To have a real shop do a good job expect $2,200 - $4,000 out the door.

i guess geographic location makes a big difference cause i would say between 4 and 8 grand for a 3/4 frame stock floor bd around here....

WOW! no wonder why people are trying to do it themselves these days. That's alot

If you know what you're doing you can do it for around $200, but you gotta have some skills.

4-8k for a stock floor seems fair the price of steel has gone up like crazy.

people try to do it themselves and alot end up with hack jobs

yea a regualr cut floor or a stockfloor on an already bagged truck that lays frame would prob be in the 3 to 4 grand range and then to do a full 3/4 frame with 4 link and bagged rear, mount fuel cell or relocate gas tank, make bed mounts run fuel lines and brake lines and everything else it takes to get the truck driving again can easily get to 8g or up depending on detail and options.... good work isnt cheap and cheap work isnt good.....

And if it was cheap, alot more people would have bodydropped, shaved, painted rides with custom suspension. And then "custom" would be "normal".
