Bad Check Valve...

The check valve on my Viair 480 is leaking like a ho...it wont let the comp pump more than 100psi. Real easy question...is it better to just replace the whole leader hose or can I just get one of the replacement valves and put it in myself? Help please....

You can buy checks valves from Parker Stores or any hydrolic line company and replace it yourself. Just make you you put the valve in in the right direction usually they and arrow for the air flow.

If you do decide to replace the entire hose be very careful in re installing the hose on the head of the compressor. Over tightening will crack the head very easily.

Use a quality check valve instead of replacing that hose.
