baggin 04 dodge ram can gas tank be left stock location?

ok maybe this has been talked about but i looked all over couldnt seem to find a thread about this...so here it goes... im startin to bag notch a link my 04 dodge ram its gonna lay on 24's..but the only thing is. the gas tank hangs way! past the frame..and i wana stay away from building a fuel cell..or moving it to the bed, ive heard of some people leaving it in the stock location and just raising it..but it looks like ima have to cut into the cab for it to be high enough of the ground...if anyone can maybe post some pics if they have done it, id appreciate it or any help..thanks

been into rams for a long time now, and dont know of anyone who has successfully raised the gas tank. I looked into it when i had mine, and it wont work. Ive heard a few people say they have done it, but have never seen it actually done and working. The few people that say they have seem to fall off the face of the earth, and never get heard from again lol.

They can't be raised enough to clear the frame, your best bet is getting a fuel cell from MMW

MMW fuel is the way to go.

I thought I had it accomplished and drug a whole in it haha Thank god I didn't burn my truck to the ground! MMW fuel cell all the way, at least if I ever get mine haha !
