I have an airkewld kit on my 64 Bug. Only issue is the front air shocks need about 160-180psi just to lift the car. Still not a bad kit though.

I HAVE FRONT CYLINDERS OFF A 71 SUPER BETTLE THAT SOME AZZ HAT DECIDED TO TAKE A LEFT HAND TURN INFRONT OF ME AND TOTALED MY BUG.. I HAVE THE CYLINDRS AND THE MOUNTS FOR THE FRONT.

I think those are McPherson...entirely different animal than the earlier bugs.

Correct.

All Supers are McPherson.

The 66+ bugs run ball joints as the pre 65's are link pin.
The later models require alot less PSI to lift (i think its due
to the angle of mount. Dont quote me). The only real way
around that is to build a legit air beam (running a single/dual
air bag).

I believe KCW used to fab the Bag Beams. Im not sure if
AirKewld Pete is doing them or not.
