I really hate project names, but hell I thought it would be funny to call this Fresh Prince since its a Belair.

First, some renderings

first a sketch by nelson michael (he does full renderings too)

and one by Gerald Martin (an impala but you get the idea)

the long and short of it... I work on it when i get time from working on customers projects, the build will go through a couple phases, and a couple engines, the first phase Ill run a carbd 350, ultimately id like to put an ls based engine in it... this is a budget build... theres a long story behind it, follow along if you want...

wheels are (for right now) 18 and 20x10 Boss 338s(color matched to the top color of the car, but flattened)

the circumstances surrounding how I got the car are strange, I had a 92 Mazda B2200 that was bagged, and bodydropped, and I had pretty much grown out of the whole minitruck phase for my personal taste, I did some bartering, trading the Mazda for a Honda 426 EX 4 wheeler, then trading the 4 wheeler for the Belair. The Belair was already in our possession for the better part of 2 years and already had new floor pans, and new quarters put on, the bottom of the car was sprayed with a textured coating, and sprayed charcoal grey along with the firewall. At this point I could have put the car together the way it was, put our basic air setup on it, and called it a day. I wanted more than that, I wanted it lower, but still with a rake, and still going with a budget, I pulled the canadian x frame from underneath the car and had it sand blasted, began collecting new parts, including new body mount bushings, and bolts, upper and lower bushings and ball joints, 800 series gear box out of a 79 Monte Carlo, McGaughys dropped spindles, cross drilled and slotted rotors, and a set of Boss 338 wheels 18

mocking the front up to get the front shocks done

weve got it equated to about a 2 inch notch

Making lower rear arms

lining up the new mount on the rear end

Wishbone, upper mounts, and lower mounts close to done

start of the lower shock mounts...

thanks for looking guys, I hope to have the frame notched up front for the exhaust, and my upper shock mounts done by the end of next week(depending on customer demands haha)

I have a gm 800 steering box im using with the project too, this thing should handle like crazy!
