I am going to take you up on that, I would love to come down and watch you guys work some sheet metal magic, maybee learn a few things so i can stop being afraid of it. When the shop slows down a bit this fall, im gonna drive down for sure. how far south from chicago are you guys?

can i be taylors intern? lol

I'll meet you there Taylor. It would be nice to learn some simple stuff, but I'm not gonna head out and buy a pullman machine or pullmax or whatever it's called, lol. You guys sure do some amazing sheet metal work though!!!
jeebus @ mmw   +1y
If i could learn how to use it as effectively as they do on all their builds, i would surely find me a pullmax machine.

Ive just all ways had this fear of doing any sort of complicated sheet metal fab. I have no problem with the usual stuff like wheel tubs, skins and basic panels and such, but the way that every damn part on every damn piece of sheetmetal ends up looking like it was that way the whole time, blows my mind. I need to see it done!

For real tho, im coming down and visiting.

Taylor I am about 2.5 hours south of downtown chicago and 5 hours from downtown detroit if that helps.

I am glad everybody likes the work we are doing. Tust me Ive screwed up alot of sheetmetal over the past 5 years to get to this point but the most important tool I've ever learn to use is probably the cheapest in the shop HAMMER AND DOLLY!!! and not just use it but understand how it works and know how to use it properly.

Sounds to me like I need to put on some sort of clinic with all this interest!!

Yes. Honestly, a sheet metal info class would go over very well. I would honestly pay for something like that.

Regardless, im coming down for a visit once stuff settles down around here.
