Looks good! when you get this point how the hell do you locate and square the rearend? you dont have any stock points on the frame to pull from so what do you use? just wondering for futer refrence

Some just make marks on the floor to measure off of for axle/wheel placement

One way is to measure from the center of the front hub, you'll be able to locate the rearend that way as long as you know your wheel base (the wheel base may differ slightly from ride height to layed out)

On this truck, it is being built on a squared and leveled table. We have a vehicle center line and rear axle center line (on the table) that we build everything off of. This makes it very easy to locate the axle housing, set pinion offset and pinion angle.

If we were building new frame rails without using the table we would completely level the vehicle in the air front to back and left to right. Then using a plum bob, transfer the frame rail locations to the floor and create a center line on the shop floor. Next create a line perpendicular to the center line and go off this line to locate a axle center line on the floor. Then once again use a plumb bob and the axle center line on the floor to locate the rear end.

Not a whole lot unfortunately. We needed the frame table for a Ridler build that has taken priority over this. Here's where it was before we took it off the table and some of the things we had fab'd up.

All the brackets and mounts were cut on our plasma table, then bent up & welded. We used Energy Suspension bushings as well.

We've kicked around the idea of making universal mounts.

Started to get the link setup layed out

Now that the suspension is at a stop, we've been trying to bang out some sheet metal work, but just not enough hours in the day.

Any experienced fabricators looking for a job!
