flat black on a daily?

so i was just curious im thinkin about painting my 01 silverado flat black it is my daily and i know they make flat clears now just wondering if there are any downsides to having a flat color mainly will it last as long and cleaning and maintenance

i painted my 94 fullsize ext.cab in hot rod black by dupont hot hues.rolled it it like that for about a year.i never had any issues.i cleaned it like all my other vehicles.wizards car care products makes a flat clear detail spray.like a final inspection.spray on wipe off.just my opinion.
