i got a 91 f150. i picked up some dream beams used in new condition, for really cheap. as it turns out the beams i got look like they are for a 83-86. it has upper and lower balljoints mounted to the beams. my truck has a lower balljoint mounted to the spindle, and what looks like a kingpin where the upper balljoint should be. Can i still run these things if i just swap out to 85 spindles and calipers? brake rotors have the same part numbers, so they should be cross compatible, but i am also not sure about the angles on the dream beams themselves, And also not sure weather the stock spring perches will fit. Truck is a daily im just looking to lower for now. Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to guage weather it would be worth it to find a set of spindles, Or if i should just get rid of these and get the right ones.
