Eclipse turbo 4 bolt???
If you mean the 6 bolt turbo 4g63(90-92) or 7 bolt 4g63(93+) then yes they will bolt to an auto tranny, some of the automatic 2.0l dodge d50 trucks came with a mini torqflite 904 that bolts up the the Eclipse motor. Also Bill Hinchner on projectzerog.com is making bellhousing adapters for a bunch of Chevy and Ford trannies.

man I may be a weirdo but I down for motor swaps but I've always been the kind to keep it brand specific.... Im doing a lexus v8 in my yota, yeah a 350 or 302 would be easier but its a toyota not a chevy or ford... just my 2cents

If you're going turbo eclipse you will need an ECU for said vehicle(which year depends on the year motor you get) and the engine wiring harness and access. and all engine access. and manifolds and such.

see, thats what i dont wanna deal with with EFI motor, but blowoff valves kick ass  guess what it really comes down to is what i can find in a junkyard when i got some cash to burn. plus i gotta take emissions into consideration

I'm unsure of the auto bolting up to a 2.0. I do know the 2.0 is a narrow block and will bolt up to the 5spd truck narrow trans. I was going this route with a red top 6bolt until I had to sell the engine. But if you need any and all info on this swap, check out www.hotrodcoffeeshop.com. This site was started for just this swap. Lots of important info you will need like wiring, parts, etc. Hell, you can even get a wiring harness too if you have a stocker.

As far as the 2.4, it's the way to go with the stock engines by looking at hp numbers, efi and all that on paper. I have a 2.6 starion block that came out of mine that I was going to rebuild...then got the red top....now going to run a 2.4 drivetrain to get here running. Later on I'll look at a 302 swap into it if I hang on to it long enough. (I'm missing my 72 F100 that was stolen, want to play with something older)

thansk for the site johnboy, preciate it  im thinkin i wanna keep it simple with a carb motor swap so theres no computer shit to mess with. the biggest issue i see is finding a sidedraft intake or making one to run a pair of weber sidedrafts cause it looks so badass! anyone know where i might look to find that? also what about hookin up a EDC, since my trucks a roadster A/C isnt a necessity.
