Tacoma SFBD question

At some point I am going to stock floor my regular cab Tacoma to pinch. I need to know if I will have to raise the tranny tunnel at all? I know I will have to raise the driveshaft part of the tunnel....just dont know about the front part over the tranny.

The reason I ask is, I have read that on the older toyotas(i think someone even said tacos) that if youre only going to pinch, you shouldnt have to modify the tranny tunnel. Its anything past pinch is when you have to....

Anyone know???

i know for the drive shaft you will....

I didn't have to on the one I did. It was a 5 speed. Just cut for the drive shaft.

That makes it even easier then. I am going with the 2x3 in the frame method then just moving the body mounts down and rebuilding the trans Xmember.
