I'm looking to swap transmissions in my ranger. It's a standard right now and I want to make it an automatic since I'm driving it everyday and t would just make life easier . Anyway I'm trying to find out exactly what I would need to make this swap happen. Has anyone done this swap on their ranger and has any helpful information? I'm assuming I'll need the following:
-Transmission-Torque converter-Column shfiter -Shift linkage-Computer -Wiring harness-Starter?
Being that it is bagged and will be stock floor body dropped eventually would I have any clearance issues? I'm running an illusive designs transmission crossmember so the truck does lay true frame at the moment. So if anyone has any info let me know. Looking to start on this in a few weeks. Thanks
