There are many types of plastics. The best way to check it to take a little bit of acetone and wipe an area to dont see. If the plastic starts to get gummy or sticky Yes it will stick. If it doesnt get gummy or sticky then you have 4 options. 1 is to capsole it, ( fiber glass the whole pannel. 2 Use an epoxy in place of the resin. 3 Plan the area of glassing and plan the finish lines on the factor pallel lines or in areas you will not see. and 4th , mold pannel and make your part seprate from your interior pannel the bond the 2 with a 2 part bonding agent. I hope that has answered any of your questions and if you want to see some samples check out my 2000 ford f150.

Glass won't last forever, eventually it will crack, separate or ghost.
