Themed Minis

What do you guys think of Themed Minis? I love Twisted Tiki, Plane Jane, The themed Sphinx Mazda etc.... Going over board can be really bad or not going far enough out with a theme can kill you at a show if you're trying to place or get you're name out their. Tribal is way to common but if done right and different can be badass. Im a huge fan of the beach and Batman

I built my truck and the "theme" just fell into place. started as almost all other minis start and just snow-balled into the beach themed "asphalt surfer". it was featured earlier this year in minitruckin' but i can post a few pics if requested.
I have seen "twisted tiki" in person and i feel i have to say he built one of the most impressive minis ive ever seen. details are simply amazing!!!

plane jane was badass and noone can deny that
