bag bracket placement?

I'm mounting bags on a trailer.I see brackets advertised for bags that mount on top of the axle, and behind the axle.Can I turn those behind the axle brackets around, and place them in front of the axle?

they should work in ether direction. I would use a large bag like a 7 or 8 since you have plenty of room. Larger the bag the less air to lift and smoother the ride.
