Spindle Help for C10

I have a 77' Chevy C10, I'm planning in putting some drop spindles. The thing is that I'm purchasing some used ones of an 85' C10. The guy doesn't know if there made of the 1" or the 1-1/4" rotor. Those it really make a differences? Would I also have to change the caliper?
