I plan on building me some lower control arms and need some tips. Like I see slot of lowers have bends about half way down and then some are straight is this just for looks or is there a purpose ? Mine is to get rid of the front strut rods and don't like to look of the kits . Also how do you set up a suspension to have almost no camber change ?

call cando, mmw or sadistic way better and safer than stuff you build in your garage.... dont take me wrong dude but control arms not well built is not safe and I would hate for you to hurt yourself driving on those or someone else

I'll just build my own. I used to build car trailers for a living so I know a little about welding plus I like to build my own parts

The cando lowers are straight

dont skimp on your jig, make it strong. As for the bends, that all depends on the suspension setup and how big your going with your wheel and tire combo. Search some hot rod forums too and maybe the twisted minis forum, im sure seth has some photos so you can get an idea.
