Street Source Announcement

Street source is definitely one of my favorite most frequented sites I have gone to over many years and for that I thank you Bob and the many others that have put in the time over the years to make it great.

I agree that Face book has managed to really hurt the Forum based sites. People seem to want instant communication and responses and the simplicity of just sharing their phone pics to Facebook, HOWEVER you could NEVER duplicate the wealth of knowledge that has been established on this site and many others like it. I try to keep my build threads current on the regular forum based sites to hopefully get opinions / feedback and help others out in similar situations and I will continue to do so. Face book is good for putting a few pics up here and there but you could never have an entire build thread on there that is equivalent to what we have here. With that said I encourage everyone to try and update their Build threads and profiles, comment on others (without the Bullshit) and use Face Book for what its intended for Communicating with your friends and family. But lets keep these sites for what they are all about .....The BADASS rides we all love and build!

Thanks again for all the effort and handwork that goes into making this site great, and maybe someday the Chat-room will be full again. Ive been an official member since 02 (lurked a while before that) but I hope that time is just the infancy of this site and it will continue to grow. I and alot of others have learned so much from sites like these and it would be an absolute shame to see them go extinct due to "social" networking sites.

Ive been a member since 01' and check out the site each time I get around a computer. It's been a huge wealth of information for me and Ive learned alot of great things that's made it possible for me to play in this game, hobby, lifestyle or whatever you want to call it.

This place is nice for people like myself who live in small podunk cities who dont get to see this type of stuff locally. Thank you for all of the work you've done and will continue to do to keep this network alive.
