I want to body drop my 71 but it looks like the steering column is going to hit the power brake booster. Has anyone done one of these and can tell me what I need to do to drop her about 3 inches.

What year cv can I use?

03-06 and it pretty much bolts in! Plus it's cheaper than I beams and gives you bigger disc brakes and rack and pinion steering.

get the crown vic stuff, you will be much happier

Isn't Crown Vic and Grand Mar the same?

And what about body droppin it...what issues am I going to run in to? Or if I get the CV clip is it going to take care of the Steering column , brake booster issue?

Listen man just do a stock floor body drop and the column to brake booster dimension wont move. Tons of room under these cabs. You can do atleast a 4" tall frame rail under it. Tie that into the crown vic clip and do rear rails and your done. So dope and so clean.
