I'm wanting to make some tube arms to incorporate my BIo Kustom knuckles, with heims instead of bushings. Im wanting something about as wide as the inside of the bushings on the stock arm, but just tapped so i can bolt the heims to the sides. Does anyone make something similar to this?

I'm also considering tapping both ends of a piece of DOM and then hole sawing two sections out for slugs for the center mounting, Tig welding and gusset across.

Well I couldn't find an answer for my needs, so i'm having some 4140 solid stock machined down and making my own cross shafts

nice. That's about the best way to do it.

why use a cross shaft at all since your rebuilding it all just use 4 slotted tabs on top of the frame then no need for cross shafts

I personally just like the look of gussesting the bag plate up to the cross shaft mounting, making that look like one unit, than just adding new tabs that sit alone. Just a preference

Not a engineer, but cross shafts can & do take a lot of force, don't believe that can be done with just tabs!
